We have nearly 35 years in the gear industry in NZ having formed Gearcutting Services in 1988. We have a wealth of knowledge to share with our customers.
From humble beginnings in a small workshop in Panmure business grew at a steady pace and adjoining buildings were occupied to house more machinery and cope with work demands.
In 1999 Gearcutting Services relocated to a larger factory to house more machinery , staff and work loads to the current location of 30 Eric Paton Way Panmure.
Business still grows and with updated machinery , computer aided software and a commitment to be familiar with newer technology, we hope to keep expanding at a steady rate.
Having established numerous working relationships with many Auckland and national companies within New Zealand our work has included many of our Pacific neighbors such as Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga and Tahiti. We have also produced goods for Australia, England and the USA.
We are able to produce one off products to production batches of gears, sprockets , splines, bevel gears , racks, key way broaching, worms , worm wheels, timing pulleys etc in almost any material.
We have full machining services and offer production services, as well as specializing in single components in an urgent breakdown situation.We can manufacture from drawings, from sample or if the customer prefers, to supply machined blanks for gear cutting only.
